Part 1 – The Secret That’s So CRITICAL To Your Success

So, let’s continue with this free training session. And this is quickly turning into a very advanced training session. :)

I want to delve a little deeper into the reasons people come to Young Living initially. Because within this holds the key to your personal success in rapidly growing your own Young Living Business.

Let’s start with me – my own personal story.  Let’s see…

I didn’t join Young Living to build a business.

I didn’t join Young Living to make a million dollars in 3-5 years.

I didn’t join Young Living because their products were purest, were manufactured a certain way – quite frankly I had no idea about any of this initially. I was very much a skeptic, but I said I’d try anything once to help my horse.

I didn’t join Young Living because their products were nontoxic, or therapeutic grade, or special in any way. Those are all FEATURES of the company and their products.

I joined Young Living – in an attempt to save my horse’s life.

I joined Young Living, ONLY because my friend told me I needed to try a specific essential oil blend – something only Young Living produced.

I’m going to reveal a secret to you in this training series – a secret that no other MLM trainer will reveal to you. But I won’t TELL you what it is – you’ll have to read deeper to discover the hidden gem here. – Or – get on board with 52 Weeks Start-up to Success to find out what it is.

You see, most MLM trainers don’t understand  Young Living  and that’s primarily why many of you have emailed me (over 100 emails and GROWING daily in fact) saying these other trainers just haven’t provided VALUE for you or taught you HOW to build a successful Young Living specific business. Many of you found just what I found.

Again – I personally have nothing against any trainer, I have just found that most of their tactics don’t work for Young Living specifically  - in fact many will actually blow up in your face if you try to approach your Young Living Business in the way they are teaching today.

In investigating the tactics these trainers teach I have found many to be downright deceptive – which is not at all how we should be building our business – as PROFESSIONAL Business Owners. Its these deceptive practices (remember – deception is in the eye of the beholder), that is causing you to FAIL in your business.

Remember, if you aren’t on track to making a decent residual income monthly, you are PLAYING at a business, you aren’t BUILDING a business.

Understanding the REAL reasons WHY other people join Young Living in the first place is key to successfully BUILDING your Young Living Business. WHY? Well, its the HOW in how you build your business.

So, yesterday I just conducted  a simple market and customer research study so we can all  understand how best to serve others in our own businesses.

We do this so we understand how to attract more business builders by learning WHY other business builders chose join Young Living in the first place.

My theory was proven by all your posts the other day. Because unlike most network marketing opportunities, Business Builders – People  SERIOUS about building businesses in Young Living – DO NOT join Young Living initially to make a living (no pun intended…). They initially join Young Living to solve a major problem that has caused pain or created a major blockage in their life.

Based on the selection of responses from my last post (you can read our community’s comments here ), I can safely say that we just discovered some very valuable customer and business builder data here.

My list of subscribers  are primarily Young Living business builders, and we just found out from you guys that you joined Young Living – NOT because of an initial desire to build a business. And many of them joined more than 1-2 years ago. In fact, many of you have been involved with Young Living at some level for some time.

Business Builders joined Young Living – Because Young Living FILLED A GAP. SUPPLIED A SOLUTION TO A LIFE PROBLEM. And it wasn’t initially a problem of finances. It was generally a health-related or quality of life-related problem that Young Living helped to resolve. A problem related to pain – or a major blockage in their life that STOPPED them from enjoying a quality life to its fullest.

Think about that for a moment. And then think about that latest MLM training you attended or scripts you purchased for example, that you’ve been touting about the past year or so. Read through the comments – and then read what some of these MLM trainers teach. While they have some gems -   I think you’ll find that there are some huge discrepancies between what they teach and the reality of how Young Living operates. At least that’s what I’ve found.

You see – folks -  I may anger some people here. I don’t mean to. I’m not picking on any one trainer personally. I think many have done amazingly well for themselves, and they have developed a great business teaching others how to become self-sufficient – but many of their tools and skills are simply just out-dated for today’s savvier consumer and business investor.

What I’m asking you to do – is to ASSESS from an objective point of view – just assess – what these other trainers, compared to the live data we just received. You see, many of them are all about pitching the opportunity in every product session. And what I am saying:

This is the end result you’ll have created for yourself if you haven’t FIRST built a strong, trustworthy relationship with these people – before you pitch the business opportunity to them.

Hackles raised (hair on the back of the neck stands on end)

Eyes narrow.

Eyes rolling.

or – people flat out ignoring you.

Not everyone enjoys a bit of tough love. But when it comes to your business – if you are not viewing everything, and I mean EVERYTHING you are doing with clear, objective lenses, then you are not tracking long-term results.  If you aren’t conscientious at all times about your professional image and you are just humming around about the latest motivational training session from some trainer without actually seeing the long-term RESIDUAL – QUALITATIVE RESULTS – you have no idea what is working, and what’s not.

Here’s the thing. a GOOD product introduction session, you may get a few signed up initially, but many people will continue to contact you from that  session for weeks to come. Remember, the fortune is in the follow-up.

Building a long-term residual wealth business is NOT based on shoving your business opportunity into people’s faces at every opportunity… :-)

It is based on creating an aura of success and a heart-centered attraction strategy around HELPING OTHERS that so compelling people just naturally want whatever it is that you’ve GOT.

So if you aren’t attracting business – take a good, hard look in the mirror. Take a good hard look at your facial expression, your body language, your style of dress. What is the sign hanging around your neck saying about you? Is it saying “keep of the grass!” Or is it saying “come talk to me, I have a great story about some incredible products I’d love to share with you!” Are you saying to others with how you talk to them – “i’d like nothing better than to get my hands on your pocketbook”,  or are you saying “I understand the problem you are facing, let me show you how I solved it in my life and in the lives of others.”

Moving on…

As we are looking to build our businesses – we think by telling EVERYONE about Young Living we will attract customers. We are so thrilled with the results we experienced, we are certain that EVERYONE wants to hear the good news. The problem is – not EVERYONE is ready to hear the good news about Young Living.

And -telling everyone in your 3 foot radius, or the first 100 people that you know may work initially, but you’ll run out of steam being rejected by your friends and family who simply don’t want to listen to a business opportunity.  In the first few months, we’ll burn ourselves out trying to find the 6 business partners (downline business builders) we need to build our successful Young Living Business.

There is a better way.

And we’ll talk about that – a little – tomorrow. :-)

Now, my suggestion to you is this. You can take advantage of the fact that I am willing, for now to teach you my strategies to attracting business. All you have to do is get started in 52 Week Start-up to Success – and get your business systems in place and start attracting clients to you now.

    Thank you for this excellent introduction! I had JUST purchased a “party script” online, since I have a new downline who wants to hold house parties. I’m nervous about speaking but I know there is so much to say. So I spent the money, downloaded the script, read it… and was so disappointed. :-( It was not genuine. If I could say something to the world about why I love Young Living essential oils, there are A LOT of different things to say – amazing things! But this is not it. So I LOVE your introduction. If you have a way to help me share successfully using honesty and integrity, I would be so grateful.

    I looked at this out of curiousity. I signed up with YLEO to take advantage of the distributor pricing in order to incorporate essential oils into my homeopathic practice. I was not planning on building a business because of all the previous failed attempts. This lecture showed me why I couldn’t get on board before….I was the one ignoring the opportunity – I thought something was wrong with me that I couldn’t jump on the bandwagon and start reaping millions. I now understand why. I somehow intuitively knew that the money, cars, trips, diamonds, furs, etc. wasn’t why I signed up. I am 62 and appreciate finding out finally that it wasn’t me not being able to “capture the emotion/whatever”.
