Are You Investing Your Time?

Today is more of a note from the Universe, rather than me, to remind you of something that perhaps you may have forgotten. The Universe wants you to know that this simple truth will guide you to making better decisions in every area of your life.

Time is the most precious commodity you have..

More precious than anything else on earth.

Time is the greatest equalizer of all life.

For with enough time, ANY problem tackled can be solved.

Honor the time you have been given. Treat it with respect.

It doesn’t matter if you are rich or poor, healthy or sick, stuck in a wheelchair or a triathlete.

You only have 24 hours a day in which to live a life.

You never, ever know just exactly WHEN your time is up in this game of life.

Every second lived in the present, in the now, without attachment to the outcome, without attachment to the past, and without attachment to the fears that hold you back from living the life you were meant to live – is a second you have gained.

Every second lived in the past, lived in worry, in fear, or in anger, is a second lost from living a life of bliss and happiness.

The bills are always going to be there.

The chores will always need to get done.

But babies grow up – and we all grow old.

People get married, get divorced, have babies, have birthdays.

The fears you harbor are only monsters under your bed or in your closets. I have shown you they don’t really exist – except only in your mind’s reality. Do not let these shadows stop you from living and creating a life of your heart’s desire.

In the hustle and bustle about your day, you usually forget about the most important things that matter most.

A wise person once told you: “You can always make more money, but you can never buy more time”. How true this is.

So, let me ask you this. Do you invest your time, or do you waste it? And the word “investment” most accurately describes the way you choose to spend your time. Are you invested in that soap opera, for example? Or are you invested in American Idol? What about the time you spend on improving yourself or time invested in your children?

People usually spend hours of their time in front of the TV, or they spent a lot of time browsing the net with no purpose whatsoever.

Time spent working a job you despise or spending more hours at work than you have to spend doing that which you were brought here to do is equivalent to loaning your life to filling someone else’s pockets. That is not why you chose to appear on this earth. You did not ask “I wonder what it would be like to be my boss’ doormat.” when you decided to descend to earth.

You say things like: “I’m just counting the hours until I go home” or “I wish it were Friday” on a Monday and so on.

If you say things like this to others, or to yourself, it may be a sign that you are wasting your time, time that could be better spent following your greater passion, your highest and best use for this Universe.

At any moment that you just let time pass by – think about this: “Carpe Diem” – that simple statement holds great meaning for our everyday lives.

Make time to analyze the way you invest or waste your time. And never forget that you never know what tomorrow may bring, or even if you will see tomorrow at all.

Your TIME is the greatest gift.

“Carpe Diem!”
